Session I at the Scottrade Center is complete
and the Beavers are sitting in a 5-way tie for 16th with 5 points
overall! A good start to the weekend!
Both of Oregon State's seeded wrestlers, 125 Ronnie Bresser III and 184 Taylor Meeks won their matches, Bresser by decision and Meeks by Major Decision. We had two upset victories - both 174 Joe Latham and 197 Cody Crawford
defeated their seeded opponents. Latham beat the #4 seed by decision
6-4, and Cody Crawford knocked off the #12 seed in tie-breaker overtime!
