Banquet Reservations Deadline - Any More Coming In?

Oregon State Wrestling fans,

We have passed the deadline for getting in your reservations for the Wrestling Awards Banquet that will be held Saturday, April 13.  That said, this was also Spring Break, so some of you may have been gone or at least away from your computers and might not have been aware of the deadline.

So - any other reservations out there that might be in the mail at this point? Or is this the first you've heard about the Banquet and really would like to be there? If so, please fill out the attached form and mail it in to our Treasurer, Michael. Reply to this email that you have done so and give me all the names of the people in your party who will be attending. That will help us get a proper headcount for the caterer, get name tags produced and all the other arrangements that need to be made.

Please get back to me by this coming Wednesday, April 3 to let me know you are coming.

Thank you - hope to see many of you soon.

Go Beavs!

Awards Banquet Deadline & More News

Oregon State Wrestling Fans,

The Wrestling season is not quite over, the Awards Banquet is the season finale. Deadline for reservations is Friday, March 29!

The Banquet will be held in Reser Stadium's Club Level ( where we had our Socials this year). The Banquet date is Saturday April 13. Doors Open at 5:00, dinner at 6:00 followed by a short program - presentation of Awards, Senior Speeches and a season wrap-up by Head Coach Jim Zalesky.

We have a lot to celebrate, not the least of which are our two All-Americans, Ronnie Bresser and Amar Dhesi. Then there is the close team race in the Pac-12's , our four conference champions, Ronnie Bresser, Grant Willits, Bob Coleman and Amar Dhesi. This was a scrappy team that made a lot of progress over the length of the season. They deserve to be recognized for it.

So if you haven't already done so, download the reservation form and mail it in with your check. If you can't attend, please consider a donation to help cover the cost of the team, which the FALL Fan club does.Thank you! donors will all be listed on the program.

Deadline for reservations - this coming Friday - March 29! Don't delay!

Be sure to list all of the names of people in your party, as your name tag at the door is your "ticket". We also need to have an exact count for the caterer, as this is a sit-down dinner.

Dress code - dressy casual. Tuxes and gowns not required, but this is a banquet, not a meet. Dress accordingly, please.

Other News

NCAA's Complete - OSU in 20th with 2 All-Americans!

Oregon State Wrestling Fans,

It's all over except the celebrating in Pittsburgh. OSU held on to their position at 20th on the scoreboard. Congratulations to the Team and Coaches for their performance!

Penn State had won before the finals even started, so no suspense there. Fans who watched from the arena and from home did get to see some pretty good wrestling in the finals.

If there are any matches you'd like to watch or rewatch, you can go to ESPN3 and click the replay tab for the day you want , scroll down to Wrestling and choose whatever mat you want. Scroll through until you find the match you want or watch the entire thing. You can also go to the OSU Twitter feed and pick up the mat links and do the same.
