Friday Night Redemption - We Have Two All-Americans!

Oregon State Wrestling Fans,

Redemption! After the heartbreaking losses of the morning, ensuring the continuing drought of having a Beaver in the finals, Session IV saw victories! We have two returning All-Americans!

Both Ronnie Bresser and Amar Dhesi needed to win their first match tonight in order to make it to All-American. Both won! Ronnie did make it a white knuckle ride, winning with a takedown with a few seconds left in Sudden Victory OT! Amar went with a Major Decision pounding of his opponent.

They weren't done. They needed to wrestle another match to determine which level of All-American they will wrestle for tomorrow.  Ronnie's match was close, but then it got away from him. He will wrestle for 7th on Saturday morning. Amar flattened his opponent in the first period. He will wrestle a match in the morning to determine if he goes for 3rd or 5th. Wrestling is not over yet.

The Beavers have scratched their way back to 18th, with 27.0 points. Those bonus points really help!
