Boise Drops Wrestling! & Next NCAA Sites

Sad news for Pac-12 Wrestling broke today. Boise State has cut its Wrestling program effective immediately. Apparently they want to add a baseball program and sacrificed the wrestling program to do it. Link to articles about the cut.

That reduces the number of schools in the Pac-12 with wrestling teams to five. Hopefully the upcoming Fresno program that re-starts in fall of 2017 will join the Pac-12. But I have no idea if it will or not.

Thanks to Ron Iwasaki and Edward Trudell for pointing out this Boise story!

For those of you who like to travel around the country to see the wrestling NCAA's, four new host sites have been announced.
