Beavers Face Tough Pac-12 Foe on Saturday

Oregon State Wrestling Fans,

The Oregon State Wrestling team travels to Tempe, AZ for a tough battle with one of their most formidable foes of the year to date. Arizona State boasts a #9 team ranking with seven ranked wrestlers. Oregon State has three wrestlers in the rankings.

The Saturday, Jan 20, meet begins at 12:30 Pacific, (1:30 Mountain for those who will be there.) It will be televised live on Pac-12 television. Live stats will be available  from TrackWrestling.

As is the usual you will also be able to follow along with Twitter.

A couple of videos made after the OSU meet with Wyoming last Sunday are posted on that Pac-12 television webpage. Scroll down the page and you will find a video recap of the meet - featuring OSU's wins - and an interview with Corey Griego.

To do some scouting ahead, you will find more articles to read at:

If you enjoy watching the meets on television, you can also watch ASU's first dual of the weekend on Friday night, Jan. 19 at 8 pm Mountain, 7:00 pm Pacific. Stanford will face ASU in that contest. That meet will also be televised on Pac-12 television.

Any Beaver fans living in the Tempe area? I'm sure the Beavers would love to see some friendly faces in the crowd. The Sun Devils will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of National Championship team, so they will have lots of ASU fans on hand. It would be good to have some supportive OSU fans in the stands as well.

The Beavers next dual will be back home on Jan. 28 vs Northern Colorado.

Go Beavs!
