Bresser Takes Third At Cliff Keen!

Cashman Center in Las Vegas
Ronnie Bresser, aka Rios on the brackets here in Las Vegas, came in third in the Cliff Keen Wrestling Tournament. Bresser was the only Beaver to place, as early morning rounds eliminated both Joey Palmer and Corey Griego.

Bresser kept Beaver fans on the edge of their seats throughout his match during the finals on Saturday afternoon. As the clock counted down with a score of 3-2 for McGhee of Missouri, Ronnie came up with a big takedown for 2 more points right before the final whistle and the winning score of 4-3, bringing the Beaver fans to their feet! Congratulations, Ronnie, for a job well done!

The Beavers were without their big man for the weekend, as Amar Dhesi was participating in the Canadian Olympic Trials. Dhesi came in second there. Congratulations to Amar!

For all  the details, read the article at the OSU website.

The Beavers return home to take their finals for fall term, then return to action at home in Gill Coliseum Friday, Dec 18, when they host Clackamas. "The FALL" Fan Club will host a Social in the Loge in Reser Stadium following the meet. Member packets will be available for pick up then. Come and join in on the fun!

Go Beavs!
