Beavers Host Cowboys in Gill on Saturday!

Be there in Gill Coliseum for the first of two home meets in January for the Oregon State Beavers, as they host the Wyoming Cowboys at noon, Saturday, Jan. 16.

Wyoming has proven to be a formidable foe for the Beavers, so we need a good crowd on hand to support our team!

Some of the FALL Board will be on hand out in the lobby
before the meet to hand out FALL membership packets. They will be there until about 11:50 am. They can also answer any questions you have about "The FALL" Fan Club and sign up new members as well. If you haven't joined yet, fill out the application form and bring it along with you.

A Social will be held on level two of Reser Stadium in the Loge following the end of the meet. Admission is free for Club members, $5 each/$20 for a family for non-members. There will be some appetizers, door prizes. silent auction items and a short program. Come and mingle with friends, fans, wrestlers, coaches and staff.

For more information on the meet, read the article by OSU. For those who cannot be here to cheer for the Beavs, you can watch on Pac-12 television. You can find the link to the television on the OSU schedule page.

To see the view from Wyoming's side, read the Wyoming article. They will be picking up two duals on their trip out west, stopping in Corvallis and then at Boise. Their article contains links at the top of that page to Trackwrestling for live stats for both their meets and also to video for both.

Salem's newspaper, the Statesman Journal, recently ran an article on Ronnie Bresser, OSU's highly ranked 125. The article contains a video interview as well.

If you'd like a little more wrestling before the weekend is over, Pacific University in Forest Grove will be hosting an open tournament, the Boxer Open, in Stoller Center. Wrestling begins at 10 am, Sunday, Jan 17. You can follow the action on TrackWrestling. This is one of the tournaments available to all the members of the Beaver squad. Participation depends on their individual schedules.

Hope to see many of you this Saturday!

Go Beavs!
