Congratulations to Hunter Willits
who took eighth place at the Cliff Keen Collegiate in Las Vegas this
morning! Hunter lost his final match 0-4 to unseeded E. Barone of
Illinois. Hunter was seeded 7th.
One Beaver remains, Ronnie Bresser,
who will compete in the finals at 125 this afternoon. Ronnie will face
S. Rivera of Northwestern. Rivera is seeded first int he Cliff Keen and
is ranked #2 in the country, just ahead of Ronnie who is ranked #3. It
should be quite a match! Finals begin at 3:00 Pacific Time.
The
Beavers remain in 19th with 44 points. That could change if Ronnie
wins. Oregon State is only 1.5 points behind North Dakota State, who has
one person in the third place match in the finals this afternoon.
