Tim Patrick lettered for Oregon State in 2008-09. His sudden and unexpected death occurred after a run on July 13, 2016.
Brandon Perkins, friend of Tim and Treasurer for "The FALL" shared the news with me and asked that I share this with all of you:
He (Tim) passed away last Wednesday. Service is at 10390 SW Canyon Rd Beaverton OR at St Matthew Lutheran Church at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 23.
Tim was a FILA Junior National Champion in Greco and an All American in
Freestyle— at this tournament, he broke his neck but continued to
wrestle through the tournament and placed 3rd (freestyle). He would have
had a great career in front of him if he did not have that career
ending injury.
Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to Tim's family. He will be missed. May he rest in Peace.
For you, Tim - Go Beavs!

Zalesky Announces New Coaching Line-Up
Head Coach Jim Zalesky has made the announcement everyone has been
waiting for since Associate head Coach Troy Steiner left to restart the
wrestling program at Fresno State. Assistant Coach Kevin Roberts is moving into the slot vacated by Steiner and former All-American Beaver Taylor Meeks makes his return to Gill as Roberts' replacement. The recent addition of former Kent State star Ian Miller as the Volunteer Assistant Coach rounds out the coaching staff. For more details, see the article at Oregon State's site. Congratulations to Coach Kevin Roberts and welcome back home to Taylor Meeks!! This is wrestling camp season at OSU, so the coaching staff will have plenty to keep them busy. If you'd like more information on the camps, check the camp pages. Don't forget, the Dale Thomas Golf Classic is coming up later this month, Monday, July 18 at the Corvallis Country Club. It's not too late to sign up to play, sponsor or just join in on the dinner at the end. Contact Coach Kevin Roberts for more details. Go Beavs! |
