Our first Open Mat session, which you are all encouraged to attend, will take place before the start of the home football game against Stanford on Saturday, Sept. 28. We will begin at 1 p.m. that afternoon up in the OSU Wrestling Facility located just north of Reser Stadium and will run up to the start of the game at 4 p.m.

Mark your calendars for the evening of Saturday, Oct. 5 as we host our Second Annual Fall Kickoff Fundraiser Dinner at the Benton County Fairgrounds. Everyone is invited to gather for an evening that includes dinner, multiple auctions, a season recap and look into the upcoming year ahead from the OSU coaching staff.
Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. followed with a reception, silent auction, dinner, and main auction in an evening filled with opportunities to socialize with current student-athletes, alumni and fans. Dinner tickets can be purchased in advance of the event for $30 per person. Sponsorship tables are available for families or businesses to purchase a 6-8 person table for $500. If you have any items that you or any business you are affiliated with that would like to be donated to our fundraiser auctions please reach out to Volunteer Assistant Coach, Jason Lara: orangecrushwrestling@gmail.com
Our first Tailgate of the season will follow an Open Practice session on Saturday, Oct. 12 when Oregon State hosts Utah for a Pac-12 matchup in Reser Stadium. We will hold an open practice in the wrestling facility for all to see followed with food and socializing outside of the facility leading up to kickoff.
If you would like to attend the football game against Utah you can contact the Oregon State Athletics Ticket Office, or purchase online at BeaverTickets.com.
This upcoming March the NCAA Tournament will take place in the largest venue the event has ever seen; U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Summer Bulletin Board - Sept. 8, 2019

Summer Bulletin Board

Sent in by John Dustin:

Martin Chavez Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to OSU Athletics Kenneth W. Noteboom '59 during the Golden Jubilee

A four-year OSU wrestling Letterman and president of his senior class, Ken Noteboom created and co-chaired a Blue Ribbon Committee designed to ensure the perpetuity of the storied 110-year-old OSU wrestling program. This endowment is like no other among Oregon State's 17 intercollegiate sport programs. Ken also organized class reunions for 45 years, and co-chaired the Class of 1959 Golden Jubilee Committee that raised funds for the CH2M HILL Alumni Center labyrinth highlighting key OSU events, plus an endowed scholarship: the first class to make two 50th reunion gifts. A retired banker, Marine, and former president of the Albany and Junction City Chambers of Commerce and the Albany Boys and Girls Club, Ken and his wife, Ruth, lived near Junction City. We've all been enriched to have known him.

John
