The balloons are bagged up and gone, the
confetti swept up and the lights are out. The Beavers are the Pac-12
Wrestling Champions for the 4th year in a row!!
For
those of you who weren't able to be there, wish you could have been, it
was a whole heck of a lot of fun! The Beavers came out in Session I and
let it be known that they were not about to give up that team title.
They finished it off in grand fashion in Session II with 139.5 points,
leading number 2 ASU by more than 30 points.
It's a short bracket with only six wrestlers at each weight, but all the Beavers made it to the Semi-finals. From there, eight made it to the finals. No one finished lower than 3rd.
I'll let you read what the sports writers have to say, but first let me congratulate the team:

Just
to finish off something I don't remember seeing elsewhere, other awards

BSU with one fall in 21 seconds.
Once
more, congratulations to the Oregon State wrestling team and Head Coach
