A few notes about what's included in the coaches' email. If you want to participate in the Tailgate party you'll find information on what you may bring and how to get tickets in the wrestling block for the football game that follows the tailgate.

The Pledge for Pins Campaign is an important fundraiser for the wrestling program. A link to the pledge form is included below.

The schedule for Open Tournaments can be found by following a link at the end. These are chances for all the wrestlers to participate, especially those that are not starters or are red-shirting. Parents, you may want to make note of these dates and locations. For fans, if you see a tournament in your area, you may want to attend to support wrestling and any Beavers who may be there.

There is a link to the regular schedule, but it does not appear to work. It goes to the Open Tournament Schedule. I have been told that several dates have changed since they were posted elsewhere. The problem is the Pac-12 television schedule causes some dates and times to be moved to fit in.

Dear OSU Wrestling, Alumni, Parents, & The Fall Fan Club,
Welcome to the Oregon State Wrestling Family, we are excited to have you a part of it. Our belief is that the stronger we become as a family, the stronger this program will become. We are excited about the season that is quickly approaching. Our preseason training has started and we are now only about 6 weeks away from our first competition.
We would like to invite you and your family to join us at the Annual Wrestling Tailgate/Potluck for parents and fans on October 24, 2015. The Oregon State Wrestling Team will have a practice 3 hours prior to kickoff of the Oregon State vs. University of Colorado Football Game. We encourage you to come and take a look at this years squad. After the OSU Wrestling practice, join us at our wrestling tailgate, just outside the wrestling practice facility. For those that want to contribute food for this event, please follow these guidelines. If your last name begins with A-M, bring salads/fruit/veggies and N-Z, bring desserts/other side dish. Also, please bring your own beverages and everything else will be provided. If you would like to get tickets to the Oregon State vs. Colorado Football Game, a promo code has been setup to purchase tickets at a group discount, tickets will be $53 with the promo code. Deadline to get football tickets is October 19 @ 9am.

Also enclosed is a copy of our 2015-16 Pledge for Pins Campaign. We would love to have each and every one of you take part in this. Last year our team amassed 116 pins. Hopefully, we can do even more this year.
