A crowd of 1,053 saw Michigan take all but two of the matches. Joey Palmer, 141, won his match by decision, 4-1. It wasn't until the last match of the afternoon that the Beavers got to celebrate another victory. Cody Crawford, filling in at heavyweight, ground out a 15-3 major decision. Three Beavers had to wrestle up a weight to help fill the hole at heavyweight. True freshman Bob Coleman moved up to 184. Cody Griego took the 197 slot and then Cody Crawford filled the heavyweight slot.

A small group of fans gathered in Reser for the Social after the meet. There was a change of caterers last year. The caterer is set by OSU as long as we are using the athletic facilities. While the food has all been great, the prices last year were higher than the year before and this year they have really jumped. The Board needs to discuss the viability of the system we now have. If anyone has any feedback about the style of the Socials, please let me know.
Thanks also to those who signed up for the fan bus to Stanford for the Pac-12's! It is early, but by the time we have the next meet at home, it will be less than 30 days until the Pac-12's. We need to have at least 40 people to make it financially feasible for us to charter the bus. Please let me know if you are interested and have not yet signed. Thank you!
