Joey Delgado is the lone Beaver to survive to the finals, and will face Sam Speno of NC State in the 5th-6th place match. Way to go, Joey!! The Midlands Tournament finals take place this evening. Start time is 7 pm Central, 5 pm Pacific.
Cody Crawford finished up his tournament earlier today,
battling his way back through the consolation bracket - ending up in
the 7th-8th place final. That match took place at the end of Session
III. Cody defeated Conan Jennings of Northwestern 1-0. Jennings was the
person who took Crawford out of the Championship bracket. Nice to see
Cody take back that loss! Cody Crawford - 7th Place at Midlands!
The finals will be televised on the Big Ten Network, so they may not be
streamed by Track Wrestling. Live stats may be available, however, if
you don't get that TV channel.
Oregon State is sitting in 20th place at the moment, let's hope Joey can bump that back up a notch!
