Sent by Evan Hooper, Director of Operations, OSU Wrestling:
Good Morning from Oregon State Wrestling!
We
hope this email finds you well! Thank you to all who came out to our
open mats session this past Saturday! It was great to see the support in
the room, and the team really enjoyed the atmosphere. Below you will
find some pictures taken at the open practice.
BENEFIT DINNER
We
are inching closer to this Saturday, Oct. 5 as we host our Second
Annual Fall Kickoff Fundraiser Dinner at the Benton County Fairgrounds.
Everyone is invited to gather for an evening that includes dinner,
multiple auctions, a season recap and look into the upcoming year ahead
from the OSU coaching staff.
Doors
will open at 4:30 p.m. followed with a reception, silent auction,
dinner, and main auction in an evening filled with opportunities to
socialize with current student-athletes, alumni and fans. Dinner tickets
can be purchased in advance of the event for $30 per person.
Sponsorship tables are available for families or businesses to purchase a
6-8 person table for $500. For more details and to register visit OrangeCrushWrestling.com
Tickets will be available at the door if you haven't already registered.
We
currently have a fantastic list of donation items, THANK YOU. However,
if you have any items that you or any business that you are affiliated
with that would like to be donated to our fundraiser auctions please
reach out to Volunteer Assistant Coach, Jason Lara: orangecrushwrestling@gmail.com
TAILGATE & OPEN PRACTICE
Our
first Tailgate of the season will follow an Open Practice session on
Saturday, Oct. 12 when Oregon State hosts Utah for a Pac-12 matchup in
Reser Stadium. We will hold an open practice beginning at 1:30 p.m. in
the wrestling facility and go until approximately 3 p.m. A tailgate will
follow with a potluck style tailgate leading up to kickoff at 5 p.m.
If
you would like to attend the football game against Utah you can contact
the Oregon State Athletics Ticket Office, or purchase online at BeaverTickets.com.
NCAA TOURNAMENT TICKETS
This
upcoming March the NCAA Tournament will take place in the largest venue
the event has ever seen; U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Given the large capacity the NCAA will give each institution the amount
of tickets they ask for. Due to this fact, if you tell us that you want
tickets a credit card number will be needed as these tickets are
GUARANTEED. IF YOU ORDER TICKETS THROUGH US YOU WILL GET AND YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH THEM.
If
you are interested in securing your tickets for the NCAA Tournament
please reach out to Assistant Coach, Taylor Meeks before JANUARY 1,
2020: Taylor.Meeks@oregonstate.edu
