Recap of 5/20 Zoom Call and Reminder for The Virtual Beaver State Tour 5/21

Oregon State Wrestling Supporters,

 

It was a fun morning yesterday hearing from AD Scott Barnes, Head Coach Chris Pendleton, Assistant Coaches Nate Engel and Isaiah Martinez and junior Colt Doyle.  106 participants were on the Zoom call.

We learned: 

-The Regional Training Center, previously Oregon Crush, has been rebranded to The Dam RTC.

-A wrestling alum and his wife, who would like to remain anonymous, recently gave $50K to jump start fundraising for the RTC. The RTC supports the salaries of the Volunteer Assistant and Wrestling Operations positions.  

-Evan Hooper, Director of Wrestling Operations, remains on staff as Coach P's "right hand man."

Tonight is another chance to hear Coach P address Beaver Nation as part of the Virtual Beaver State Tour.  Registration info is below.
