Oregon State Wrestling Fans,
It's been a long wait, but the Beaver wrestling team will finally be back home on their own turf, Monday, January 30 at 7 pm.
Not only their home turf, but on a brand new wrestling mat, according to a press release from Oregon State Athletics on Tuesday! Thanks to Craig Scharer for sharing that news with me.
We need a great home crowd to give the Beavers the boost they will need
to face down a ranked Stanford team. Stanford is hot off an upset of Arizona State last Sunday. Stanford's heavyweight is the Pac-12 wrestler of the week.

Are you going to the big event of the wrestling season? The NCAA's will be here before we know it, March 16-18, 2017, in St Louis. If you haven't already arranged for your tickets, be sure to contact Coach Kevin Roberts soon! Tickets are allotted to schools and if they are not sold within a certain time, the unsold tickets go back.
The only way to sit with other Oregon State fans is to buy the tickets
from the Oregon State block. Coach Roberts sent out this message
yesterday:
Requests are
being taken for tickets to the NCAA Wrestling Championships. We have a
limited number of tickets still available!! Please let me know if you
would like to purchase all session tickets for three great days of
wrestling action! Thanks for the support of Oregon State University and
NCAA Wrestling!

This coming Saturday the final open tournament of the collegiate season will be taking place. Not sure if anyone from Oregon State will be going or not. There is a video link for live-stream on the SanFransisco Gater's schedule page.
