Oregon State Wrestling Fans,
Many
of the matches were very close. The very first was at 157. Hunter
Willits lost 2-5 to an experienced Paul Fox. Bot the 133 and 141 matches
were lost not only by a single point, but at the last second.
Do
have to give credit to freshman Myles Terry, who turned in a gutsy
performance at 174 against #9 Keaton Subjeck. The score at the end of
round 1 was 2-4, round 2 was 2-4. Myles just about pulled off a big
throw that could have won him the match, but Subjeck was able to use it
to his advantage.

The
Beavers now have to pull themselves together, renew their confidence
and head to Bakersfield for their final dual of the season as they visit
the Roadrunners at 6:00 pm tomorrow. The Roadrunners are fresh off a 34-7 victory over Cal Baptist on Friday.
One last item as food for thought - this article
from Associated Wrestling Press was shared by Ron Iwasaki who got the
link from Marlin Grahn. The article is a list of reasons that Cael
Sanderson gives as reasons "why (his) kids will wrestle".
