The Oregon State Wrestlers ended their dual meet season tonight by defeating CSU Bakersfield 23-13! Way to go, guys!
The meet was close with OSU winning 6 of the matches to CSUB's winning 4. The score was boosted by bonus point wins from Amar Dhesi - tech fall - and Myles Terry - fall! Adding to the Beavers' score was another upset, the second on the weekend of a ranked wrestler, this time by Hunter Willits at 157! Hunter defeated #16 Coleman Hammond, 3-2! Hunter has been so close all season to beating ranked guys, nice to see him finally succeed!
Congratulations to all the match winners: Corey Griego, Amar Dhesi, Ronnie Bresser, Josh Reyes, Hunter Willits, and Myles Terry!

If you did not get to see the match, you can watch a replay on Bakersfield's FaceBook page. I must thank Luke Zalesky
for this info, as I had not realized they would be doing a livestream
on their FB page until we happened to run into Teri, Zack and Luke at a
local restaurant right before 6:00. The video is just a cellphone, so it
is a bit shaky, but at least you can watch!
You can also scroll through the comments on OSU's Twitter feed.
You
will also be able to read more details at both Oregon State and
Bakersfield's websites, but at this moment, their articles have not been
posted. When they do, links will be posted on their archives' page.

The Beavers now return home to get ready to host the Pac-12 Championships in Gill Coliseum on Sunday February 25. Pac-12 Wrestling teams are: Oregon State, Arizona State, Stanford, CSU Bakersfield, and Cal Poly.
Tickets are now on sale from the Ticket Office. All tickets are all general admission. Ordering them on-line adds a $10 charge for either mailing or Will Call. You can also buy them at Gill Coliseum during the week, or purchase on the day of the tournament. All session passes are $30 for adults and $20 for seniors/youth.
There are two sessions, Session 1: 10:30-1:00, Session 2: 3:30-4:30, 4:45-7:45 (approximately).
Don't forget - FALL Club members please RSVP to the request to check in if you intend to attend the Social/pizza feed during the break between sessions. We need to know how many are coming to get the proper amount of food!
Keep the momentum going, Beavers - all the way through the tournament to the top of the podium!!
Go Beavs!!
