Beavs 0 For 2 on Cal Trip

Oregon State Wrestling Fans,

The Oregon State Wrestling team again managed four wins, but lost their meet with Stanford, 12-25 this afternoon at Stanford.

Congratulations to the four Beavers who had wins today:

125 Brandon Kaylor - second win for the weekend

133 Devan Turner - second win for the weekend

149 Lane Stigall - an upset of #19!

184 Colt Doyle - first win for the weekend

Thanks to Evan Hooper for his Tweets on the OSU Twitter feed - the only way to tell what was happening, even if you were watching the Stanford live-stream. Must have been a new technology gone awry. The camera swung back and forth, apparently run by a robot that seemed to be more interested in watching the OSU bench - looking good, guys! - than the action on the mat!

The Beavers return home now for their last two meets - both at home - before the Pac-12 championships. Next up - Feb 15, Saturday, at 1:00, they take on the Little Rock Trojans, a new Pac-12 wrestling team. The last dual will be with Cal Poly in Gill on Feb 22, the following Saturday.
