opponent Cal Poly!
UPCOMING WEEK
The
Beavers and the Mustangs will take the mat at 1 p.m. with live coverage
of the event to be provided by Pac-12Networks. It is the only Oregon
State Athletics event in Corvallis this weekend, make sure you attend to
see all the action from our final dual of the season!
Oregon State wrestling alumni and NCAA Champions Jess Lewis and Howard Harris will be honored at the intermission between the 5th and 6th bouts.
LAST WEEK RECAP
Oregon
State Wrestling (8-7, 1-3 Pac-12) capped off a busy weekend of
competition taking duals from Cal Baptist on Friday, before shutting out
Arkansas Little Rock on Saturday.
The
Beavers began the weekend by cruising to a 28-6 win over Cal Baptist
behind two bonus point victories and winning eight of ten bouts. Brandon
Kaylow won by major decision at 125 pounds, while Aaron Olmos earned
six team points by way of forfeit.
The
Beavers returned to Gill Coliseum the following day facing the newly
formed Arkansas Little Rock Trojans. OSU gave the visitors a warm
welcome to the Pac-12 Conference with a 42-0 win.
Oregon
State collected two major decisions, two technical falls and a pin en
route to the conference dual win. 125-pounder Brandon Kaylow won a 15-4
major decision, with 141-pounder Grant Willits following suite with a
10-0 major decision. The Beavers earned back-to-back technical falls at
174 and 184 pounds thanks to Jackson McKinney and Colt Doyle. Redshirt
freshman J.J. Dixon picked up his first dual pin of his career at 197
pounds.

2020 iteration of the Oregon State Wrestling Camps have been set and
finalized. Below you will find the dates and prices for each of our

THE 100 CLUB
One
of our new initiatives this year which serves as a replacement to our
Pledge for Pins drive in the past is The 100 Club: It is designed to
help the growth of the Beaver Regional Training Center (RTC). The money
gifted goes directly to the Beaver RTC which is a Nonprofit Organization
that supports the travel and training expenses associated with the RTC.
Our
goal is to raise $100,000 this season. For example, that is 1,000
individuals donating $100 each. If you would like to join the 100 Club
please print out this FORM and mail it to our PO Box. The address to which is on the form.
