Coaches - Ian Miller & Kevin Roberts |
Hope you all got to enjoy the big show last night, either at the Scottrade Center in St Louis, or on ESPN television. Penn State ran away with another team title, having five individual National Champions. It was a good show, with great matches. It will be even better some day when we have some Beavers in the final matches!
All Oregon State could do during those last two sessions was to wait to see if any team would pass them on the scoreboard. A few teams did, so when the final whistle blew, Oregon State finished in 28th place. Out of the Pac-12 teams, only Arizona State and Stanford placed ahead.
Here are the final team scores for all teams participating - compiled by TrackWrestling:

If you didn't fill in your brackets, you can find the finished set here.
I will be posting the rest of the photos that Michael Denison has sent from the NCAA's to "The FALL"'s blogsite. Enjoy! A big thank you to Michael for taking those photos and sharing them with all of us!
The final event of the Oregon State Wrestling season is the Awards Banquet. The date of the Banquet is April 8th, Saturday. The Social hour begins at 5:00 pm, dinner is at 6:00. The awards, short speeches by the graduating seniors and some final thoughts by Head Coach Jim Zalesky complete the program after dinner. It will be held in Reser Stadium.
Final plans are being made now. Expect the reservation form to arrive in your email box in a few days. Deadline for reservations is March 31.
Hope to see many of you at the Banquet!
Go Beavs!
