Joey Palmer came close to All-American |
There will be no All-Americans for Oregon State this year. The #5 seed, Steven Micic of Michigan, was a little too much for Joey Palmer to handle, at least not this time. Joey was one win short of reaching the All-American level.
That brought the Beavers' run at the NCAA's this year to a close as the others had been eliminated in earlier rounds.
The Beavers are still holding at 22nd place, but their final placement depends on how other teams beneath them do on Saturday.
