We Have Two All-Americans!

Oregon State Wrestling Fans,

It's been a long day of wrestling, but now that it is all said and done, Oregon State has two All-Americans! Both 125 Ronnie Bresser and Hwt. Amar Dhesi have worked their way into the brackets for All-Americans. Congratulations to both!

Ronnie Bresser won his first match of the evening to assure himself of All-American status. Unfortunately, he lost his second match. That dropped him into the match for 7th. Ronnie will face #13 seed Zeke Moisey of West Virginia for the last match of their season.

Amar Dhesi had firmed up his All-American status with his win in the morning session, reaching the semi-finals. Amar got the first takedown of his match with Michigan's Adam Coon, but was unable to score again, losing 2-4. Amar will face #11 seed Mike Hughes to determine who wrestles for third and who goes for fifth. Amar pinned Hughes earlier in the tournament.

Find a few more details in the osubeavers article.

In the team race, Penn State has managed to jump to the lead with 120.5 points while Ohio State is in second with 109.5. Oregon State is in 23rd place with 16.5 points. Check the updated brackets, team scores, etc on the FloWrestling page.

The format for Session V will be the same as before. Check the Oregon State Twitter feed for the link to the mat camera for both matches, or go directly to ESPN3 to watch any match you desire.
