Beavs take 2nd at Pac-12s, indiv champs Turner & Grant Willits

Congrats to the team and staff on their 2^nd place team finish and individual champions Devan Turner and Grant Willits!  It was a different experience watching a tournament virtually and the color commentary by Adeline Gray, Trevor Rasmussen and Brandon Perkins greatly improved the home viewing experience.

Final matches:

125 Brandon Kaylor 3^rd after 3-1 vs Antonio Lorenzo of Cal Poly

133 Devan Turner 1^st over Chance Rich of CSUB, 3-1

141 Grant Willits 1^st with a pin in 2^nd period of the championship match

149 Lane Stigall 4^th  with a loss to Cory Crooks of ASU

157 Hunter Willits 2^nd after a loss to Jacori Teemer of ASU, 9-4

165 Matthew Olguin 3^rd with a win over Adam Kemp of Cal Poly, 2-1

174 Colton Beisley 5^th after tech over Elijah Clever of Stanford, 19-3

184 Ryan Reyes 2^nd after very close match with Dom Ducharme of CSUB in OT

197 JJ Dixon 2^nd after major decision by Norfleet of ASU, 16-4

Hwt Brian Barnes 6^th after being pinned by Gabe Beyer of Little Rock

The Beaver NCAA qualifiers so far are Devan Turner, Grant Willits, Hunter Willits and JJ Dixon.  The NCAA Selection Show will be on Wed Mar 10 when the wildcards will be announced.  Craig Scharer is predicting that Brandon Kaylor and Ryan Reyes may get these invites.  The NCAA brackets will be released on Wed Mar 11 at 3pm Pacific.
