Pac-12 Champs Return Home to Gill

 It was a little after 6:00 pm when the wrestling team rolled in to Gill, back from their victorious trip to ASU at Tempe, AZ for the Conference Championship tournament. When the wrestlers and coaches walked out on the floor of Gill they were greeted by the Oregon State fight song played by the band. 

After a few volley's from the confetti cannon, cupcakes from a table at center court and a few more songs from the band, they all posed for photos with the trophy and Todd Stansbury, OSU Athletic Director.

The basketball game had been over for a while, most of the crowd had faded away, but a few local wrestling fans came to share in the moment with the basketball fans who stayed.

Congratulations to the Oregon State Wrestling team, Pac-12 Wrestling Team Champions for 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016!! Thank you to the coaching staff for  their guidance to this great group of young men! All those trophies are the result of many hours of hard work.
