Looking ahead not all that far, the NCAA Champioinships are coming up March 16-18 in St Louis, MO. Anyone interested in sitting in the Oregon State section, should get on their ticket list NOW. For more information, here is a note sent out by Assistant Coach Kevin Roberts:
Hello everyone-
We have a short week as we leave tomorrow to the East Coast to take on Big 10 power Rutgers and nationally ranked Drexel. Last week was a mixed bag of results. We won at Northern Colorado on Friday, and we were defeated by Wyoming. We continue to have inconsistency among the lineup and that is hurting us as a team. Joey Palmer had a great weekend scoring over 40 points in two matches and getting two bonus point wins in his first weekend at 133 lbs. Cody Crawford and Corey Griego also went 2-0 on the trip and looked good. Joey Delgado went 1-0 and did not wrestle Sunday against Wyoming. We expect him to be back this weekend.
Dave Henry won the Boxer Open at Heavyweight over the weekend and Seth McLeod was runner-up at 184 lbs. in his debut at Oregon State.
NCAA Tickets will be going on sale very soon through the OSU ticket office. If you would like to sit in OSU section in St. Louis, please let me know. Our section is limited tickets, so the sooner you can let me know, the better! Please email me (Kevin) or call me at 541-230-0613. I’d love to have enough tickets for all, but right now am limited to 100 all session tickets. We have 20 in the lower level, and 80 in the upper level. Lower Bowl are $245, Upper Bowl are $200. All tickets are subject to a $10 processing charge. Thanks, see you soon!
