Wrestling News For This Week - October 22-28

Oregon State Wrestling Fans,

With barely two weeks before the Intrasquad Meet to determine who will represent the Beavers starting line-up for the 2017-18 season, it is time to do a little catch up on some Club business and all other wrestling news.

New FALL Board Officers

At recent meetings of the FALL Board, new officers were selected. Congratulations to our new President, Reynold Gardner! Also welcome back to the Board, Jana Iwasaki!

Subscribing to Wrestling Emails From "The FALL"

If you are not already regularly receiving these emails and would like to be on the list, you can sign up for them here: OSU List-serve page

Parents, especially if you are new! - this is one easy way to get other family members or friends signed up if they would like to be included in the email updates.

Join "The FALL" Fan Club

Expect to see the membership drive begin next week. Your FALL Board members are working on getting the membership registration form updated and out for you soon! We will again have options for signing up on-line with a credit card or the old fashioned way with real paper, a check and the US Postal Service!

The latest articles from Oregon State are out with news of who is ranked in the pre-season polls. Amar Dhesi, Ronnie Bresser, Corey Griego and Jack Hathaway are all ranked. You can find links to all the articles on the OSU Archives page.

Support Oregon State Wrestling - Pledge for Pins

If you are looking for a great way to help support wrestling at Oregon State and make it competitive with the team, sign up for the Pledge for Pins. It's easy, all you have to do is choose an amount, sign the form and mail it in. the coaches will keep track of the pins and at the end of the season they will send you the tally with the amount you  owe. 

A link to the Pledge form is given under"links" on the right hand side of the page. Help keep Wrestling alive and well at Oregon State! One thing this money does is help attract and keep good wrestlers around after graduation. They get to work on their skills for Olympic wrestling while challenging the team to bring out their best!

Help Requested For Pac-12 Tables

Even though the season has barely begun, it's time to start getting ready for hosting the Pac-12's in Gill Coliseum at the end of the season. If you are skilled at working a time clock or want to help at the scoring tables for the tournament, please contact Evan Hooper.
