Beavers Can't Quite Hold Sun Devils

Oregon State Wrestling Fans,

The Beavers put up a good fight and won four matches against the #4/6 team in the country, but the Sun Devils won six and took the meet 26-12.

Match winners were: 133 - Devin Turner, 141 - Grant Willits, 149 - Lane Stigall and 184 - Colt Doyle. Congratulations, all!

Next up in wrestling, Pacific University in Forest Grove hosts another open tournament, the Boxer Open, on Sunday, Jan. 19. Wrestling is set to begin at 10:00 am. Some of the Beaver squad may participate. The team travels back east for their next meets, Saturday, Jan. 25 with Campbell and Presbyterian.
