This year for the first time, the Annual Joe Wells Classic went to the team that Joe Wells headed for 14 years, the Oregon State Beavers!! Final score - OSU 21 Michigan 15.
Match winners: 133 Devan Turner, 141 Grant Willits, 149 Lane Stigall, 165 Aaron Olmos, 184 Colt Doyle and 197 JJ Dixon

Next up - this coming Friday January 10, what we've all been waiting for since the Intrasquad meet last fall, the Beavers finally return to their home mat! The last osubeavers article says the meet starts at 7 pm Pacific Time while the schedule still says TBD. Let's hope it stays 7 pm. The Beavers will face Northern Colorado, a team that placed 6th at the Southern Scuffle. For a little more on their team, check this Northern Colorado article.
