The Wrestling season is not quite over, the Awards Banquet is the season finale. Deadline for reservations is Friday, March 29!
The Banquet will be held in Reser Stadium's Club Level ( where we had our Socials this year). The Banquet date is Saturday April 13. Doors Open at 5:00, dinner at 6:00 followed by a short program - presentation of Awards, Senior Speeches and a season wrap-up by Head Coach Jim Zalesky.
We have a lot to celebrate, not the least of which are our two All-Americans, Ronnie Bresser and Amar Dhesi. Then there is the close team race in the Pac-12's , our four conference champions,
Ronnie Bresser, Grant Willits, Bob Coleman and Amar Dhesi. This was a
scrappy team that made a lot of progress over the length of the season.
They deserve to be recognized for it.
So if you haven't already done so, download the reservation form and mail it in
with your check. If you can't attend, please consider a donation to
help cover the cost of the team, which the FALL Fan club does.Thank you!
donors will all be listed on the program.
Deadline for reservations - this coming Friday - March 29! Don't delay!
Be sure to list all of the names
of people in your party, as your name tag at the door is your "ticket".
We also need to have an exact count for the caterer, as this is a
sit-down dinner.
Dress code - dressy casual. Tuxes and gowns not required, but this is a banquet, not a meet. Dress accordingly, please.
Other News
Two Beavers have been selected for All-Academic Honors for the season, Aaron Olmos, first team, with a 3.53 GPA and Bob Coleman, second team with a 3.06 GPA. You can read more about it in the latest article from OSU. Congratulations to Aaron and Bob!
