Greetings Beaver Nation,

The best part of wrestling season is upon us! We load up and head down to Tempe, Arizona, tomorrow morning for the PAC-12 Wrestling Championships. The tournament is Saturday, March 9, beginning at 11 a.m. The first and second rounds and the consolation semifinals will be streamed live on Pac-12.com. The championship rounds, which begin at 6 p.m., will be televised live on Pac-12 Networks.

If you haven't already heard, the NCAA allocations for each weight were released last Saturday. The PAC-12 brought a total of 17 spots, which break down to the following: three spots at 125, two spots at 133, one spot at 141, two spots at 149, two spots at 157, one spot at 165, one spot at 174, one spot at 184, two spots at 197 and two spots at 285.

We'd also like to congratulate three future Beavers on great wrestling seasons. Abner Romero, who is projected to wrestle at 174 pounds, won a CCCAA state title. Robbie Garcia, projected to wrestle at 149/157 pounds, won a New Jersey state title at 152 pounds. Ein Carlos, projected to wrestle at 165/174 pounds, also won his third straight Oregon high school state title. They will make great additions to our team. We are excited to get to work with them!

As always, we want to thank all of you for your unbelievable support throughout the season! Anyone traveling down to Tempe, we wish you safe travels. Well see you there!

Go Beavs!
