Three Left For Friday!

Oregon State Wrestling Fans,

Session II of the NCAA's has come to a close. Oregon State has bounced around on the score board, even in the lead early on! At the end of the session the Beavers are sitting in 12th place with 13.5 points.

Three Beavers remain in the action for Session IV on Friday morning! Ronnie Bresser and Amar Dhesi are 2-0 on the day and will be in the quarterfinals in the morning. Way to go, guys! Grant Willits is 1-1 on the day, losing his first match, but picking up a victory in the Consolation bracket, winning by fall! Hang in there, Grant! Devan Turner, Hunter Willits and Bob Coleman were all eliminated from the tournament. Devan and Bob both won one match before exiting.

Before any more details, let me repeat something that you may have missed at the end of my last email:
One bit of sad news to pass along, long time FALL Club member and one of the original Booster Club Board members, Bob Newton, passed away this past Saturday, March 16. Memories can be left at the funeral home website. Bob's big smile was a part of the wrestling crowd for many, many years. Our hearts & prayers go out to Bob's wife, Pat, and his whole family. He will be missed. May he rest in Peace.
