Barely two days left before the Pac-12 Conference Championship tournament begins!
The time schedule, rankings, NCAA tournament allotments and other articles are now out. You can find links to all of those in Brooks Hatch's article at the OSU website. Be sure to check all of the links in the "Related Links" box in the upper right corner of that article. Some are so important I will include them here:
NCAA Automatic Bids - the list of allotted berths at the NCAA's
Pac-12-Championships - the site for the tournament, check there for brackets, live stats, etc. Don't think the brackets are out yet, though.
Pac-12 Press Release - contains the schedule, etc.
For those who are not able to attend the tournament, it will be possible to watch all the action. These Camera links take you to live-streaming
by ASU for each of the mats for all of the wrestling up to the finals.
At that point, coverage will be provided by the Pac-12 network.
Camera 1 - for livestreaming before television coverage
Camera 2 - as above, second mat
Camera 3 - as above, third mat
If you can't watch the live-stream, use that Pac-12 Champioships link above to find live stats provided by the Pac-12. A big "Thank you" to Brooks Hatch, Oregon State Sportswriter, for sharing those links, especially the ones to the cameras!
Arizona State, host of the Pac-12's, has also released an article with more details from their vantage.
For Beaver fans who will be attending the Pac-12's, the Social after the tournament has been arranged. Location will be Gordon Biersch, with a dining area and patio reserved, appetizers will be available. If you want an entree or more to eat you will need to order that on your own.
The address is 420 S Mill Ave, Tempe. Fall President Cory Rahn says it looks like a 15 minute walk from Wells Fargo Arena. Our reservation is from 8:30-10:30 pm. Don't miss out!
In the last email, I mentioned video highlights. If you
want to view all the Oregon State videos, they are all available on
OSU's Beaver Athletics YouTube page. You can find just the wrestling videos or you can see all the Oregon State Sports videos.
If you are on the general page, you can always select out the wrestling
videos by clicking on the small search icon under the Oregon State
banner and entering "wrestling" in to the search box. Thanks to Ryan Haworth for providing those links for my email!
There has been a lot of information in these recent emails. In case you
lose track of them, remember the email messages are all posted on the
FALL's blogsite: http://osuwrestlingfall.blogspot.com/
One last item, a recent article
in Oregon State's Barometer - the student newspaper. The article is
about wrestling and weight. It is quite interesting, give it a look.
Let's Go Beavs!! Bring home the hardware!!
