A "Welcome Back Champs!" is being planned for the Oregon State wrestling team and coaches on their return to Gill Coliseum today. They are expected to arrive around 5:45 this afternoon.
The Athletic Department is planning to have the Band, Cheer and fans stick around after the 3:30
basketball game concludes. When the Beavers arrive, they will be
brought in to the court. The plan is to shoot some confetti cannons and
have the band play a few songs to help celebrate the Beavers "Fifth in a
Row Pac-12 Championship!
A good chance to take some pictures and offer our congratulations! The Athletic Department wants to extend an invitation to all OSU Wrestling fans to join in the celebration.
If you can come, please meet inside Gill (after the game). The coaches know about the plan, but it is a surprise to the wrestlers, so please don't tell them! Hopefully, their flight will be on time.
Remember, they are expected at 5:45 today, so you might want to get there a little earlier.
